Why Have a Neonatal Resuscitation Package?
The sad reality is that infant mortality in many LMICs remains high to this day. A leading cause is the fact that hospitals in these regions are not properly equipped with emergency resuscitation equipment for newborns.
If a newborn is delivered but isn't breathing our neonate resuscitation package can be the difference between life and death. Having the equipment on hand, all together in a single package saves vital time when seconds count.
